LIFEGUARD & SENIOR LIFEGUARD
Applications can be picked up and returned to Town Hall at 14 NW Division, Wilbur WA 9916, Monday-Friday 9 am to 5 pm. Applicants must be 15 years old by the last day of lifeguard training class. Lifeguards are responsible for obtaining their own certification. For more information on certification classes and where they are offered contact the Red Cross in Spokane. Applicants must be certified by the pool opening date of June 8th. Positions are open until filled.
The Town of Wilbur is accepting applications for a Swimming Pool Manager for the 2020 swimming season. The ideal candidate enjoys working with children, is able to supervise lifeguards and pool users and has experience in the operation of swimming pools, pumps, and solar systems. The manager is responsible for chlorine level testing, keeping of all records, cash receipting as well as ensuring a safe and fun atmosphere. The Town of Wilbur is seeking a resident interested in serving the community as a council member. The candidate must be a registered voter and have been a resident of Wilbur for 1 year prior to appointment. All Town council meetings are on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of each month, at 7:00 pm.
