Wild Goose Bill Days is Wilbur’s annual community celebration held in May. It is named in honor of Town Founder Samuel (Wild Goose Bill) Condon/Condit, a pioneer who had a habit of shooting his neighbor’s pet geese for sport and later died in a gunfight. Stories abound describing the life and times of Wild Goose Bill, Wilbur’s colorful founder: Wild Goose Bill Life Story

The celebration is scheduled for Saturday, May 21, 2022. Many outdoor events are planned, including: a Main Street Parade, Kid Games at the Park, 5K/10K Race, 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament, Mini-Train Rides, Museum Presentation, Casting Competition and Beer Garden with live music from Desert Highway Band! Plan on joining the fun this year! Friday night, May 20, is the famous Fireman’s Auction.
